Senior Software Engineer – Replication Architecture and Tools

Job Summary
As part of the Gatewise team, the incumbent will contribute to the development of an enterprise system with an emphasis on architectural components, tools as well as core product feature sets.

Responsibilities

• Hands on design and development of Replication/Migration/Mapping tools for our core product.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of features for our core products.
• Develop approach and framework for these implementations which can be used consistently across various clients.
• Develop enterprise feature sets in conjunction with these components.
• Deliver implementations on schedule and with high quality.
• Ensure accurate requirements and test plans and test-plan automation are being developed for migration and replication work.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience is required.
• 2+ years of .Net, C# experience.
• 2+ years database architecture and data modeling experience.
• Experience using advanced features of the .Net Framework, such as Reflection CLR, SOA, ETL,is a plus.
• Experience working on, designing or managing ETL projects.
• Strong database design and programming skills including stored procedures is essential.  NHibernate is a plus.
• Advanced concepts such as custom controls and web services (WCF) are a plus.
• BS Computer Science or related field.
• Must be innovative, resourceful, and willing to take initiative.
• Must be an independent thinker, yet still be a team-player willing to take and give direction.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and presentation skills are key.
• Large-scale systems design and development is a plus.
• Solid analytical and business processing skills.
• Property and Casualty Insurance industry experience a big plus.
