Regional Sales Manager
Job Summary:
Responsible for client relationship management, complex solution selling, attainment of sales objectives, client satisfaction and retention for new and existing accounts within assigned territory
Responsibilities
- Develop account and sales strategies that will enable the Company to achieve sales leadership in assigned accounts.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales process that ensures achievement or overachievement of assigned sales targets
- Penetrate and develop new clients.
- Leverage existing client relationships to close additional sales – users, migrations, professional services or additional solution offerings.
- Build and maintain solid pipeline and prospect list. Ensure data is entered into Prophet accurately and timely
- Responsible for ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction through on-going personal attention and by working closely with support functions to ensure smooth hand-offs for conversions, implementations, training, and client support.
- Ensure efficient management of territory and expenses.
- Maintain the highest level of industry and product expertise.
- Keep abreast of competitive activity and Blue Cod Technologies advantages vs. competition.
- Make a commitment to personal development and growth.
Requirements
- 10 years sales experience, preferably in a business-to-business software or services arena.
- Experience within a multi-dimensional operating environment is essential (i.e., not a mono-line, single market environment).
- Experience in the Property and Casualty Insurance services arena is required.
- Business-to-Business software application expertise
- Strong technical knowledge of Blue Cod Technologies, competition and the marketplace
- Strong understanding of agency and carrier workflows and business objectives, and ability to translate product application into the solution for the carrier’s business problems
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills required
- Demonstrated ability to follow sound business ethics when executing job responsibilities to build and maintain management confidence
- Strong technical skills – WEBEX, Word, Excel, MS Office, PowerPoint and a working knowledge of marketing and graphics tools such as Adobe, Acrobat and PageMaker
General Business
- Understanding of general business issues including external factors that impact the business and industry.
- Demonstrated ability to follow sound business ethics when executing job responsibilities to build and maintain management confidence.
- Strong technical skills – Word, Excel, MS Office, PowerPoint
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
